Scope and operator
This policy describes the Pihtari website and its interactive sample closet. Pihtari is a U.S.-based wardrobe project intended for U.S. visitors. The website operator is Praecidium, based in Florida.
The website is separate from the Pihtari iOS app. It has no connection to an app wardrobe, account, or photo library. A privacy policy for the released app must describe the app’s own processing and service providers.
Photo import is part of the iOS app, and a character based on your likeness is a planned app feature. This website does not accept personal images, generate a personal avatar, measure your face or body, or collect biometric identifiers.

Information and purposes

A look name can contain personal information if you enter it. Use a simple outfit label and avoid addresses, passwords, or other sensitive information. The website does not request your real name, email address, location, payment information, or date of birth.
Fonts, garment images, and interface assets are served from the website itself. No third-party font service, social-media embed, advertising tag, or separate analytics script is installed by Pihtari.

Browser storage and tracking
The website uses local storage, a browser feature that keeps data between visits, only for saved looks you choose to keep. It uses the key pihtari.website.saved-looks.v1. The website does not set cookies or create a tracking identifier. Hosting providers may use technical cookies or other records to secure and operate delivery and provide visit statistics, as described in their policies linked below.
Saved looks belong to the browser profile and website address where they were created. Another browser, device, or website address does not share them. They are not synchronized or backed up by Pihtari. Browser privacy settings may block or remove storage. If a save fails, the closet tells you that the look is available only for that visit.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The website does not track your activity across other websites, sell personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Its behavior is the same whether your browser sends a Do Not Track signal or a Global Privacy Control signal. Hosting providers handle their records under the policies linked below. No separate opt-out is required to stop an activity that this edition does not perform.

Retention and security
Saved looks remain in browser storage until you delete them, clear the site’s browser data, or the browser removes them. There is no automatic time-based expiration. The closet keeps at most 24 saved looks; saving another replaces the oldest record once that limit is reached. Look names are limited to 60 characters.
Searches, favorites, support drafts, and unsaved outfit state are not retained by the website after the page session ends. Pihtari does not keep a server-side copy of saved looks. Downloaded files have their own lifetime on your device.
Copied support notes remain on your device’s clipboard according to its settings. Clearing or leaving the page does not clear your system clipboard. The website does not read your existing clipboard contents.
We keep emailed inquiries while needed to answer the request, document its resolution, and meet applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete an inquiry through the privacy contact below. Application code stores no persistent request logs. Providers manage operational and security record retention under their own policies; Pihtari does not promise a fixed deletion period for provider records.
Browser storage is not an encrypted wardrobe vault. Someone with access to your browser profile, or software with permission to inspect the website, may be able to read it. The public website uses HTTPS to protect data in transit.

Your data controls
The saved-look controls require JavaScript. You can also delete this website’s saved looks using your browser’s site-data settings.
You can also reopen or delete an individual look from the closet’s Saved screen. To remove this website’s browser data using browser settings, open its site-data or storage settings and clear the data for this website address. Clearing data is specific to that browser profile and address.

U.S. privacy choices
U.S. state privacy laws may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Some laws also provide an appeal process. The rights and obligations that apply depend on the law, the business, and the processing involved. This policy does not restrict any rights provided by applicable law.
The browser controls above are available to every visitor. They let you directly review, correct, export, and delete the saved records this website stores on your device. Pihtari cannot retrieve those records remotely. This edition has no sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or consequential automated profiling.
For general questions about this notice, use the contact information in section 10. Email privacy@pihtari.com to make a privacy request or appeal a response. Describe the request without sending sensitive information. We will respond as required by the applicable law.

Children’s privacy
The website is intended for a general audience interested in the Pihtari product and is not directed to children under 13. It has no account registration, personal-photo uploads, messaging, or behavioral advertising. Do not enter a child’s personal information in a look name.
If a future feature collects children’s personal information, its audience, notices, consent requirements, and deletion process must be reviewed before that feature is enabled. A statement about age does not replace those requirements.

Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date and last-updated date. Before a material change to information practices, a notice will be placed on the website explaining the change. Any consent required by applicable law will be obtained before the affected processing starts.
New features, including personal-photo handling or personal-avatar creation, require a specific review and updated notice before they collect information. They are not enabled by this policy.
